The Version History Tab provides a list of all the versions of that particular page that have ever been saved. <<picture>> Should the worst happen and you make a complete mess of a page and by accident save it, you can come to version history, select an older version, click on modify and it will open in the editor. If you immediately save it, then that version will become the latest version. In effect you can pull an older version which is known to be good, up to the top of the pile. It will become what people see on the web. It is akin to having a stack of pancakes and taking the bottom one out and placing it on top. Of course it will be better to try and not make a mess out of your web pages, but it is reassuring to have that type of 'fallback' in place if needed.
